I have known Hunter McWaters via social media channels for a few years now. His story isn’t unique in the fact that like many of us whitetail hunters, we felt the call to head West in search of adventure and hunting opportunity. However, starting your own outdoor media company and essentially going for broke in your 30’s is certainly far from the norm.

I respect a man who bets on himself to chase down his dreams and make them reality. In fact, it reminds me of a guy that made a similar bet when he started the Lone Star Outdoor Show nearly 15 years ago.

From Kodiak Island blacktails, to whitetails and waterfowling in his native Virginia we run the gambit on not only hunting, but also where faith comes into this industry we both love.
